Program Overview

One of the greatest strengths of our women's and gender studies program is its interdisciplinary approach.All women's and gender studies students take "Women's and Gender Studies: Frameworks and Issues," which provides the theoretical structure with which to analyze gender issues alongside race, ethnicity, class and sexuality. The other courses to complete the minor are up to you.Concordia offers 15 courses on a regular basis and other courses across campus can be requested to count toward the minor.

Additional Information & Requirements

A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution's music program, earning either a BA, BM, or BS in Music Education (or alternative licensure) or other music specialization. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.Completed at least one year (at the beginning of coursework) of music teaching in a public or private school setting.
