Program Overview

The participating departments (Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Modern Languages, Political Science, History, Philosophy, Public Administration, Religion, Sociology, and Urban and Regional Planning) cooperate to offer an interdepartmental major and minor combination, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, which is designed to equip students with a fundamental orientation in the field of international relations, to provide basic methods of approach to the study, and to provide intelligent observation of international affairs. Students are advised to coordinate their major coursework with foreign language study, focusing on a regional concentration.
