The Department of Political Science at the University of Connecticut offers undergraduate programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts. These programs are designed to prepare students for careers in research and management positions in the public and private sectors.The undergraduate curriculum of the Department of Political Science is structured to develop an understanding of the dynamics and institutions of political life, preparing for the realities of public policy and administration, and learning the methods necessary for empirical research and analysis.
