Bachelor of Politics, History, & Economics

3 Years Online Bachelors Program

University of Northwestern St Paul

Program Overview

The Politics, History, and Economics (PHE) program is an interdisciplinary program designed to equip students to contribute to the common good and human flourishing through understanding the structures and dynamics of public life. With elements of politics, history, economics, philosophy, and communication, the PHE program will equip students to give God-honoring leadership in the home, church, community, and world. One important component is the semester-long study-abroad experience in Washington, D.C., through the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. This ensures that the students receive both academic and experiential learning opportunities. The program functions as a terminal major to equip students for careers in public service and international affairs, as well as provides preparation for graduate study in politics or law.The degree is granted upon completion of credits specified on pages 47--48 (40 credits must be in 3000- or 4000-level courses).
