The major is designed to provide students with a broad base in psychological science. Courses in psychologyinclude the 1000-level survey course plus 27 credits at or above the 3000-level that must include: univariatestatistics (PSYC 3090), experimental psychology (PSYC 3130), at least one course in each of the distributionareas (psychobiology, social/developmental/cognitive psychology, and techniques and applications), and oneadditional psychology laboratory course (beyond PSYC 3090 and 3130).
