Program Overview

A photography minor is the perfect complement to a major in journalism, film studies or graphic design. St. Scholastica's photography program will allow your creativity and imagination to blossom while grounding you in the fundamentals, such as the principles of aesthetics and composition.You will work closely with your instructor to plan out and create an independent study that will result in an exciting exhibition that will give you the chance to share your portfolio with your community.You will have access to a cutting-edge digital editing lab, as well as a unique chance to use traditional darkroom facilities.
