Additional Information & Requirements

Common Application and LMU Supplement, Coalition Application, LMU Application. Students who study select curricula such as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program or A Level examinations are to submit English proficiency results. LMU only requires one of the following tests: TOEFL: The University s minimum, standard for undergraduate admission is 90 for the Internet-based TOEFL the equivalent score of 550 on the paper-based TOEFL.IELTS: The University s minimum standard for undergraduate admission is 6.5.Duolingo English Test: The University s minimum standard for undergraduate admission is 110.PTE: The University s minimum standard for undergraduate admission is 53.Submit your transcripts in English from all secondary schools/high schools attended. Full transcripts from each individual school year must be provided. Submit a letter of recommendation with your application. This letter should be from an official at the last school you attended or are currently attending, preferably your counselor, a teacher, your principal, or another administrator. Submission of a portfolio is optional and is academic record and an inherent understanding of and passion for studio work still stand as the primary factors in our admission decisions. If you choose to submit a portfolio, you will be able to do so after you have submitted your application. Students applying for admission into the Studio Arts major may submit a portfolio of up to 10 samples of art and design work that may include: Ceramics, digital art, drawings, graphic design, illustrations, paintings, photography, sculpture, videos, as well as audio and other visual materials.
