Program Overview

In Film Studies, students receive a thorough introduction to the many facets of moving image culture, including a background in film history, theory, and aesthetics. In this interdisciplinary program, students are exposed to a broad array of national and international films, as well as filmic translations of well known works of literature. Students analyze film from a variety of theoretical perspectives and become critical viewers of what is now one of the most predominant forms of cultural representation.

Additional Information & Requirements

High school transcript be sent upon graduation which must include your date of graduation and final GPA., Earn at least a 2.5 high school GPA; or. Rank in the top half of the school's graduating class; or. Earn an ACT composite score of 22 or higher, or SAT total score of 1120 or higher (exception: MSU Northern: ACT score of 20, SAT score of 1050).The TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB are also required of international applicants who are not graduates of an English-speaking university.
