The Ceramics Lab at UNI is a spacious and well-equipped area that embraces all ways of working with clay and glazes.
Students are encouraged to develop their own concepts for the artwork they wish to create with clay. Ceramic artwork created at UNI ranges from wheel thrown functional pottery to large scale ceramic sculpture.
Students are also able to learn from the many nationally-recognized visiting artists who come to campus. These artists give workshops at UNI demonstrating how they create their artwork and enable students to learn how to become and survive as professional artists.
