The sculpture program at the University of Northern Iowa encourages students to develop as artists and prepares them for professional opportunities in a variety of artistic and creative fields.
The balance of technical and conceptual practices are at the core of our curriculum. Embracing the interdisciplinary nature of sculpture, faculty emphasize an object-based approach to creating sculpture and foster explorations into new media, installation and other forms of expression.
