Program Overview

The one-year certificate programs in the arts, business, and science are designed to give you a strong foundation in your intended area of study. For most university degree programs, your certificate will allow you to enter directly into your second year of study at the BC university of your choice. (Since the requirements at other universities may differ, our academic counsellors can help you look at your options for universities outside of BC). The Business Certificate is a one-year (30 credits) program in business designed to provide the foundation coursework for completion of a university degree in business.

A high school diploma or school completion certificate, TOEFL IBT of 86, A CAEL score of at least 60, A minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTSwith 6.0 on the writing component, An overall score of 60 on PTE with 60 on the writing component, Students must have earned an average of 65% in four academic subjects, Transcripts must also demonstrate completion of mathematics in 12th year, Vocational/technical diplomas and polytechnic diplomas must have 75% or higher average, Transcript from previous schools
