Program Overview

Students who successfully complete the accredited certificate program with an accumulative average of 70% or better in the trade subjects and level for which the program was accredited, gain employment and register as an apprentice within two years of graduating, will receive credit for Level 1 in-school technical training and 900 hours in the Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Agricultural Equipment Technician or Truck and Transport Mechanic apprenticeship program.

A complete Manitoba Grade 12 or equivalent, onsumer/Essential Mathematics 40S or equivalent, High school diploma, Official, original transcripts or notarized copies of your secondary education or exam results, Notarized English translations of the transcript must accompany the document if it is in another language, Official transcripts of your post-secondary education, sent to us directly from the college or university, English Language Requirement: IELTS 6.5 Academic, no subscore lower than 6.0, TOEFL 79 IBT, no skill score lower than 18, CanTEST 4.5 in reading and listening and 4.0 in writing and speaking, CAEL 60, MELAB 80, PTE Academic--58, A photocopy of your valid passport
