Marketing, and in particular digital media marketing, is an exciting and rapidly developing field of study that offers excellent employment prospects and exciting careers. The Certificate in Digital Marketing aims to provide students with knowledge of the fundamental theories, concepts and methods of digital marketing and in doing so enable the student to appreciate how digital marketing is part of modern day business strategy. This programme will equip students with the skills to use digital media tools to plan and manage a digital marketing campaign. Graduates of the programme will have a well-grounded knowledge of digital marketing that can be demonstrated and put into action in the workplace.
Hold a major award at NFQ Level 6 from a recognised third level institution. Applicants with appropriate experience will be considered under DBS polices for Recognition of Prior Learning, IELTS score 6.0 (or equivalent).
The Certificate in Digital Marketing is intended to position graduates for recruitment into digital marketing posts across a range of sectors. Previous graduates of this programme have been successful in getting employment as Social & Display Manager, Media Buyer, Social Media Manager/Executive, Marketing Assistant, Digital Project Manager, Digital Marketing Administrator, Online Marketing Manager, Digital Creative Manager.

Should hold a level 6 equivalent to the Irish NFQ (year 1 of a three-year BA (Honours) degree programme) or at level 6 (Year 2 of a four or five-year BA (Honours) Degree programme) in the European Union and have achieved 60 ECTS at this level. Students are required to have an English Language qualification at CEFRL B2 or above, IELTS scores.
The curriculum also aims to provide students with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to operate effectively and gain future employment within the digital marketing industry.
