Program Overview

This is a course which is taught in collaboration with our partner School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) organisations.  We currently work with the Bromley Schools’ Collegiate; other partnerships are in development. You will learn from experienced colleagues based in your SCITT who will prepare you for assessment against the Teachers’ Standards at the end of your training year. This will allow you to achieve Qualified Teacher Status.With colleagues at Canterbury Christ Church University, you will learn to use the insights from research and your wider reading to benefit your understanding of teaching and learning.

You will pay fees to your SCITT provider in respect of your PGCE. You pay no fees direct to Canterbury Christ Church University.
