Offer a one year course leading to recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE (60 Master level credits). The programme offers a real balance between hands on classroom experiences and the theory underpinning educational practice.
A minimum 2:2 honours degree from a UK university or recognised equivalent. If the degree is in a different subject to the one you wish to teach, an A Level in that subject is required. Applicants are also required to have GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. Applicants who do not hold these qualifications may be considered on an individual basis based upon their overall application and the course applied for. IELTS 6.5 overall, and a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
