Through placements, you’ll become confident carrying out lessons in secondary schools.Schools in the UK need geography teachers that are keen to share their expertise about different places, landscapes and processes.We’ve designed this course to help you understand how to support KS3 and KS4 students. You’ll develop the skills you need to make sure young people in your class enjoy learning about our planet. And after you pass the course, you’ll be recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This means you can apply for teaching roles across the country.
An Honours Degree with a 2:2 classification in Geography or a related subject, Interview and a DBS check. IELTS Academic with 6.0 overall and no less than 5.5 in any component.
