There is an increasing demand for professionals trained in the specialized area of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Certificate program at Converse consists of five classes exploring the issues and needs of those on the autism spectrum. This certificate can be completed along with a graduate degree or as a stand-alone certificate.Students in our Autism Spectrum Disorder certificate program will study identification of ASD and other related disabilities; characteristics of learners with ADS; assessment for ASD; factors that affect learning development; educational intervention strategies and learning environment; foundation of communication, social interventions; and behavior management.
