The Advanced Certificate Program in Autism consists of 12 credits. The coursework and fieldwork opportunities will reflect a range of educational approaches and services available for persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The approach is eclectic and will include, but not be limited to, Applied Behavior Analysis, natural learning paradigms, relationship-based developmental models, and common practices of teaching in the field of ASD. Various philosophical, educational, psychological, and clinical paradigms will be incorporated.
Minimum, an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Education, Speech-Language pathology, Science, Letters, and Society, or a related field, or be a current student in a Master degree program in Education, Mental Health Counseling, Neuroscience and Developmental Disabilities, Cover Letter, Resume, Two letters of recommendation from instructors or employers, Submit a Graduate Application, official transcripts from each college/university attended, graduate entrance exams, personal statement, Submit a proof of English Proficiency Examination, TOEFL: Minimum required score is 79 Internet, IELTS: minimum required score is 6.5 overall band, Pearson Test of English Academic: Minimum required score is 53
