UFV's two-year Library and Information Technology diploma program, recognized by the Canadian Library Association, helps you develop strong information literacy and information management skills. It s flexible, too; you can study full-time or part-time, on campus or online. Depending on your interest, choose between three specializations: Records Management, Systems Technology, and Youth Services. As a library technician, you organize information in diverse formats and make it accessible to the public. UFV s Library and Information Technology diploma program prepares you for a career where you can share your passion for helping others and using technology to find creative solutions.

Additional Information & Requirements

Must completed the equivalent of Canadian Grade 12 (Form Six or five O-levels plus at least two A-levels) or near-equivalent standing, high school transcript(s) and proof of graduation, post-secondary transcript(s) from all institutions attended, IELTS (Academic) - score of 6.5 or higher with a minimum band score of 6.0, TOEFL of 88 or higher (iBT) with no section below 20, CAEL - score of 70, PTE - score of 61 with 60 in writing, MELAB - score of 85, Cambridge - Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) min C, CanTEST - score of 4.5 with a minimum writing score of 4.0
