This advanced diploma program prepares students to work in a variety of agencies and organizations concerned with the complex challenges of children, youth and their families. Child and Youth Care Practitioners utilize a relational approach, while working with children, youth and their families, building on strengths to facilitate positive change, promoting resiliency, independence and self-advocacy.
O.S.S.D. or equivalent with:Grade 12 English C or U, Applicants must demonstrate language proficiency by submitting one of the following scores:IELTS of 6.5, TOEFL iBT 79, Passed Lambton Institute of English placement test, Certified copies of high school/post-secondary transcripts, diplomas and degrees, Signed Notice of Disclosure form, Signed Toronto or Mississauga Supplemental Registration Agreement, Applicants must demonstrate language proficiency by submitting one of the following scores:Completion of EAP-3106, English for Academic Purposes during first term of study
