Program Overview

In this two-year program, students will acquire the foundational skills and knowledge required for entry into a position in the automotive service industry. The first year follows the Industry Training Authority (ITA) automotive service technician foundations course outline, and focuses on hands-on, physical skills development. Students complete a summer co-op work term between years one and two.

Successful completion of English 10, or English 030, or equivalent, Successful completion of Foundations of Math and Pre-Calculus 10; or Math 030, or a minimum C grade in one of the following: Foundation Program and Workplace Math 10 or Trades Math 041, or equivalent, Minimum TOEFL score of 80 (IBT) or minimum overall Academic IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent, or successful completion of CNC s English for Academic Purposes, Provide a scanned copy of your passport data pages, Provide scanned originals of your secondary school graduation transcripts or mark sheets. All documents must be accompanied by a notarized, official translation into English where applicable, Provide proof of English Language Proficiency either a minimum TOEFL score of 80 (IBT), an IELTS score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent as determined by the College of New Caledonia or have completed CNC s English for Academic Purposes
