Program Overview

Civil Engineering Technician program is focused on the design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of infrastructure facilities including: roads, bridges, buildings, dams, storm/sanitary/water systems, pipelines, and deep and shallow foundations. Students will gain practical, hands-on experience in design and drafting in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) laboratory. In addition, they will receive survey training with state-of-the-art electronic survey equipment that will be interfaced with survey software. You ll also be introduced to Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) scanning equipment and point cloud management software.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent:any grade 12 English, any grade 12 mathematics; TOEFL: IBT- minimum overall score of 80, IELTS: minimum overall score of 6.0 bands, with no less than 5.5 bands in any section, PTE: minimum overall score of 58
