Program Overview

With Fanshawe's Civil Engineering Technology program, you'll study structural engineering concepts like the design of steel frame and reinforced concrete buildings. You'll analyze theories for the treatment of water, sewage and solid wastes. You'll learn how to select and test construction materials, and you'll develop skills in computer assisted design (CAD) and drafting, electronic surveying methods and writing technical reports.
