On Campus
Saint Mary's University offers the first two years of a four-year CEAB-accredited Bachelor of Engineering program. This general, two-year program provides students with a broad knowledge base and solid foundation in engineering science and design, mathematics, natural science, and technical communications. At Saint Mary's, our engineering courses are small---most are limited to a maximum of 40 students and our second-year courses average fewer than 30 students---and offer plenty of opportunity for individualized attention and student-professor interaction. Students, professors, and classmates get to know each other on a first-name basis, which makes asking questions and seeking help easy. It also comes in handy as students engage in group projects like the twice-annual Design EXPO & Robot Competition.Whether it's modelling and creating student's own ideas on our 3D printers, testing the strength of student-designed structures, programming automated devices, or disassembling and rebuilding common household items, Saint Mary's Engineering offers plenty of hands-on design projects and laboratories.
