Program Overview

This course enables you to obtain an internationally recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy which will allow you to seek employment as a mobile therapist or junior therapist within a commercial salon environment or progress to Level 3 and obtain advanced skills. The Beauty Department at Boston College and Boston College Spalding work in partnership with a prestigious skin care company, Eve Taylor, to deliver unique skin care training in fully equipped training salons, which are open as commercial salons to the general public.

Additional Information & Requirements

3 GCSEs grades D or above (New GCSE grade - 3 or above) in English, Maths and Science. Beauty Therapy Level 1 would also be an advantage, but not necessary. Successful completion of an interview process should be achieved which includes attending a taster session to assess your enthusiasm, ability to talk to people, personal presentation and practical dexterity skills. A full interview will be carried out if you are wishing to progress from Level 1 to Level 2 in which attendance (minimum 90%), acceptable behaviour/attitude, ability to progress, ability to meet deadlines and satisfactory reports from all tutors will be taken into consideration. IELTS Overall Score 6.0
