Program Overview

The course provides an introduction for those looking to start a career in Health and Social Care. If you are unemployed or a volunteer you must attend 1 day for 36 weeks in college. You must also attend placement for 2 days a week and achieve at least 200 hours on placement during the course. If you are employed and in a level 2 role in the care sector you must attend college 3 hours a week for 18 weeks and assessment in the workplace of 15 hours
