The LPC is the vocational stage of the route to qualifying as a solicitor and prepares students through practical assessment for the legal profession. Students learn how to apply academic aspects of law into real life scenarios. Most students study the LPC after completing the academic stage of training by means of passing a law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL).The Legal Practice Course prepares students for the next stage of vocational training, the training contract. Many students go on to secure training contracts locally and further afield.
A Qualifying Law Degree as defined by the SRA (Solicitors Regulatory Authority), at least a 2:1 classification*. IELTS Academic with 6.0 overall and no less than 5.5 in any component.
