This dual degree is suited to students who have a keen interest in both actuarial studies and law, and want flexibility in their choice of profession. Students will gain a foundation to enter the actuarial profession, while also developing a greater understanding of the legal frameworks, processes and systems, as well as developing the technical and non-technical skills needed to pursue the role of an actuarial analyst. Students are cross-trained to become uniquely skilled in both areas, with the ability to provide comprehensive strategic, commercial, and legal advice to the financial and insurance services industry, regulatory bodies, government organisations, consultancy firms, and international organisations.
