The course will provide you with skills in securing data and data communications, as well as investigating, analysing and providing solutions to computer crime. The course assists you to attain the knowledge required to become a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
A Certificate IV in a related discipline OR A Diploma in any discipline OR Successful completion of relevant study at an accredited higher education institution equivalent to at least two Deakin University units OR Other evidence of academic capability judged to be equivalent for example relevant work or life experience, Certified copies: Award certificates, Academic transcripts, Formal identity papers (e.g. your passport), Evidence of ongoing residence and employment (in a role requiring proficient English) for a period of 5 years or more within Australia, Submission of a portfolio of work, references, personal statement or supplementary Information form, IELTS overall score of 6 (with no band score less than 6) or equivalent, Completed the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or another type of qualification taught in English, Lived and worked in an English speaking country for at least five years
