Combining law with criminology means you ll gain broad theoretical, applied knowledge and skills concerning the meaning of crime; the forms, causes and consequences of crime; the different institutions and processes involved in preventing and controlling crime; policy development, policing and security; and related fields.

Entry for school leavers will be based on their performance in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or its equivalent, with pre-requisite units 3 and 4; a study score of at least 35 in English EAL (English as an additional language) or 25 in English other than EAL, Certified copies: Award certificates, Academic transcripts, Formal identity papers (e.g. your passport), Evidence of ongoing residence and employment (in a role requiring proficient English) for a period of 5 years or more within Australia, Submission of a portfolio of work, references, personal statement or supplementary Information form, IELTS overall score of 7 (with no band score less than 6.5) or equivalent, Completed the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or another type of qualification taught in English, Lived and worked in an English speaking country for at least five years
