Program Overview

The Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offer a dual degree program which qualifies students for two degrees after the equivalent of five and a half years of successful full-time study leading to the award of the degrees Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (BE (Hons) BA). The Faculty of Engineering administers the program, and delegates administration to the School which offers the Engineering discipline selected. Students should seek advice from the relevant School Office in the first instance, or from the Faculty of Engineering. All programs must be approved by both the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

IELTS of 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest), TOEFL ibT 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking), PTE of 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest), Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component, CAE 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest), CPE 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest), ANU College Access Program Successful completion with a minimum of 70% overall, Grade C+ or 70% in English, ATAR of 76, IB of 27, ACT of 22, SAT of 1100
