Program Overview

During this four-year degree programme, undergraduates will read both Art History and English literature, benefiting from the expertise and resources of both the School of Humanities (SoH) and the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM). For English Literature, students will focus both on traditional historical periods and on contemporary innovative approaches to the subject. Specialisations offered include All the major literary periods, Singaporean and Asian literatures, critical and literary theory, cultural studies, film studies, drama, postmodernism, and gender studies. The Art History curriculum aims to equip students with a thorough knowledge and critical awareness of the global histories of art, culture and heritage, which will be taught through lectures, seminars and practical projects.

Additional Information & Requirements

General Paper of the Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Examination, 12 years of general education or will be taking High School national examinations in the year of application in order to be considered for admission, IELTS: a minimum of 6 for the Writing sub-test, TOEFL: a minimum of 570 (paper) or 90 (internet), SAT1: a minimum of 600 for the Verbal section; or 7 for the Essay section, A good grade in General Paper/English at Senior High School Level / IB Standard Level
