Program Overview

Mathematics at Imperial aims to present a wide range of mathematical ideas in a way that develops your critical and intellectual abilities. The BSc Mathematics with Education course allows you to gain Qualified Teacher Status alongside your mathematics degree by completing teaching placements and teacher training organised by Canterbury Christ Church University. This enables you to teach mathematics in secondary schools in England and Wales as a Newly Qualified Teacher after you graduate. In your final year you will take a mixture of core teaching modules and optional maths modules, as well as completing teacher training placements in schools.

IELTS of 6.5, PTE of 62, TOEFL iBT of 92, A-levels at A*A*A or A*A*A* with A* in Mathematics, A* in Further Mathematics, A in a third subject(Chemistry or Physics ), General Studies and Critical Thinking are not accepted, Practical endorsement, IB at 39 41 with 7 in Mathematics at higher level, 6 in Physics, Chemistry or Economics at higher level,Mathematics Admissions Test (MAT), Sixth Term Examination Paper (STEP)
