Program Overview

Chemistry at Imperial is designed to produce chemists of the highest calibre, who are capable of pursuing a career in the chemical sciences. This degree is delivered by the Departments of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, and focuses on work at the boundary of these three disciplines, for example nano-engineering. Graduates of this course will gain strengthened knowledge of the physical and mathematical background for mastering physical methods of modern chemistry. Your study reaches Master s level in the fourth year. The wide choice of advanced topics makes it possible for you to follow a broad or specialised programme to suit your individual interests. You will also complete a substantial research project.
