University of Northern IowaThe Middle Level Science teaching major at UNI is a dual major that allows you to teach not only science, but another subject such as math, social studies or English, at the middle school level. Students will take a variety of science content and methods courses, along with professional education courses and intensive field and student teaching experiences. Our graduates are widely sought after by school districts, because they’re able to teach multiple subjects.
