Program Overview

The School of Social Welfare and the School of Public Health have joined resources to offer students an opportunity to combine the M.S.W. (MACRO Concentration) and M.P.H. (Management or Health Policy track) for a strong specialization in health policy, management and administration. The M.S.W. course work includes generalist and advanced social work MACRO practice that prepares students to work in health care and health related settings. In the advanced curriculum, students select courses in social work and health, aging, human services management, program development and policy areas, including mental health, rural social work and child welfare.
