Program Overview

The combined B.S./M.S. degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology offers undergraduates strong scientific background and laboratory research experience needed to pursue Ph.D. degrees in biomedical science or to qualify for entry-level professional positions in academia, the pharmaceutical industry and secondary education teaching. In the combined program, students can earn both degrees in 5 years, instead of 6 years usually required to obtain sequentially a B.S. and an M.S. degree.
