Accounting and finance play a central role in all business activities. Whether it's small-scale enterprises or large multinational corporations in the service and supply sectors, the ability to effectively manage, plan, and track financial resources is crucial for driving growth and achieving profitability, which are the ultimate indicators of business success.

By pursuing a degree in Accounting and Business, you will acquire the necessary skills to exert influence and provide valuable insights into business operations and strategies. This program will empower you to shape policies, create job opportunities, and contribute to the overall prosperity and wealth generation. It also offers a wide range of exciting and fulfilling career prospects both in the United Kingdom and internationally.

The course spans four years, beginning with a comprehensive Foundation Year designed to offer an alternative pathway into university education and obtaining a degree. This option is suitable for individuals who lack the required qualifications, feel unprepared for undergraduate-level studies, or are returning to education and seek support in adapting to the university learning environment.

During the Foundation Year in Business, you will have the opportunity to develop your academic skills, enhance your confidence, and familiarize yourself with essential concepts, debates, and competencies that will form the foundation of your subsequent undergraduate studies.

Upon successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will progress to Year 1 of the Accounting and Business BA (Hons) degree program.

Typically, the entry offer for this Foundation Year course is 32 UCAS points from at least one full A-Level or equivalent BTEC National qualifications, GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C or 4 or higher (except Business and Economics, Business and Enterprise, Business and Management, Business and Marketing and International Business, which just require GCSE English Language at Grade C or 4), IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

This degree program provides excellent groundwork for pursuing a profession in finance and business consulting, encompassing areas such as accountancy, auditing, taxation, corporate financial services, and banking. A considerable number of our students aim to become self-employed, and this curriculum comprehensively addresses all facets of business establishment, initiation, and expansion.
