The projected 29% increase will see almost 500 million new passengers travelling on domestic routes and 331 million new passengers on international services. Global connectivity is a key factor in the economic competitiveness of a country, with both business and leisure tourism offering a range of economic opportunities. Global cities, mega-regions and emerging destinations are experiencing phenomenal growth in aviation development. This Aviation and Airport Management course has been developed in response to these trends, specifically in partnership with Swissport, the aviation ground operations specialist, and Airport Placements Ltd, meeting the demand for appropriately-trained personnel.
An overall average of at least 65% in 12th Standard from both State and Central Examination Boards, IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component. A-levels: An A-level grade profile of CD-DD. T-levels: A T-level graded Pass with a core component profile less than C. BTEC: A BTEC grade profile of PPP-PP. This can be achieved from either an Extended Diploma or a combination of smaller BTEC qualifications. Apprenticeship: Achieve an advanced apprenticeship (Level 3). Tariff: Other Level 3 qualifications are accepted at University College Birmingham for entry. A minimum of 56-32 UCAS Tariff points will be required. Access to Higher Education Diploma: 56-32 UCAS Tariff points. Non-tariff: Non-UCAS Tariff-based Level 3 qualifications are also considered for entry. Work-based: You must have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience, demonstrating management or supervisory duties. Your application must also include a reference from your line manager supporting your entry to higher education.
