Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirements for registration as an Engineering Technician and partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer.The FdEng in Motorsport Engineering has been developed by Brooklands College and Oxford Brookes University as preparation for a range of technical and management careers in performance road car technology.

A minimum of one pass at A-level or 6-unit Vocational A-level (in Maths, Physics or a closely related subject), plus a minimum of three passes at GCSE (grades A-C) including Mathematics at grade B or equivalent and English language. OR A National Certificate or Diploma or other full equivalent Level 3 qualification, in a discipline related to Engineering, including merits in the applied units, plus a minimum of three passes at GCSE (grades A-C) including Mathematics at grade B or equivalent and English language.
