Successful completion of this year guarantees progression to our comprehensive BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science course.

During the foundation year, you will undertake a series of modules offered by the Institute of Sport, Nursing, and Allied Health. These modules are specifically designed to acquaint you with university-level study and provide you with a deeper understanding of the field of health and exercise science.

Entry Requirements:
UCAS:

48 tariff points, with the possibility of recognizing prior experiential or recognized learning.
A Levels:
Grades required: DD.
BTEC:
Grades required: PPP, with the option for recognizing prior experiential or recognized learning.
GCSEs:
Minimum grade of C/4 in English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject or higher (Functional Skills English and Maths Level 2 Pass are accepted as equivalents).
IELTS:
Overall grade of 6.0, with no component lower than 5.5. Note that progression to allied health programs will necessitate an overall grade of 7.0, with no element lower than 6.5.
