4 Years On Campus Foundation-program Program
The initial foundation year focuses on developing the necessary academic skills required to excel in a degree program and provides a broad introduction to key aspects of sociology.
In the first year of the full degree, you will have the opportunity to explore the reasons why sociology offers captivating insights into various aspects of our social world. This will lay a strong foundation upon which you will continue to build throughout your degree.
As you progress to the third year, you will have the chance to specialize in specific topics of interest. This involves exploring contemporary perspectives on subjects such as sexuality, health and wellbeing, crime, and the media.
During your final year, you will work on a final dissertation project that serves as the culmination of your learning throughout the degree program. In addition to this, you will also examine the role of the media in the rise of anxiety among younger generations, the portrayal of the world in media, and the sociological principles underlying aggression and violence.
