Explore how life works at the most basic level, from a biochemical, cellular and molecular perspective. You ll gain a broad and rigorous foundation in the Life Sciences. A flexible upper division means that you can focus on your own areas of interest for your future career, or build your program to meet your needs for medical, dental, or veterinary school. The MBB major program provides a broad foundation in the life sciences from a biochemical, cellular, and molecular perspective. Flexibility in upper division course selection allows students to tailor the program to their own interests as well as meet the entry requirements for medical school and other professional and graduate programs. The School of Computing Science and the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry offer this joint major program. Student enrolment, appeals, and graduation processing are handled by the School of Computing Science in the Faculty of Applied Sciences.
