Explore how life works at the most basic level, from a biochemical, cellular and molecular perspective. You ll gain a broad and rigorous foundation in the Life Sciences. A flexible upper division means that you can focus on your own areas of interest for your future career, or build your program to meet your needs for medical, dental, or veterinary school. The MBB major program provides a broad foundation in the life sciences from a biochemical, cellular, and molecular perspective. Flexibility in upper division course selection allows students to tailor the program to their own interests as well as meet the entry requirements for medical school and other professional and graduate programs. The School of Computing Science and the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry offer this joint major program. Student enrolment, appeals, and graduation processing are handled by the School of Computing Science in the Faculty of Applied Sciences.

Additional Information & Requirements

Competence in Quantitative and Analytical skills, a minimum of 50% in Senior Mathematics for admission (based on a 35% pass scale), All India Senior School Certificate / Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) / India School Certificate (12 year), transcript which includes interim standard XII level marks, TOEFL iBT of 88 with 20 in each of the four components , IELTS of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAEL of 70, PTE Academic with an overall score of 65, and a minimum score of 60 in the Communicative Skills, including: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing, each lower division required course in mathematics and statistics, or its equivalent, with a minimum C+ grade, ACMA 101 and ACMA 210 with a minimum grade of C- and have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.40
