Program Overview

Students may opt for a bachelor of arts degree from the Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology, or a bachelor of business administration degree from the Beedie School of Business. Faculty requirements will be governed by the faculty in which the student chooses to complete a degree. A bachelor's degree program in business communications provides students with education on strategic communication tactics used for corporations, companies and other organizations. Students focus on verbal and written communication in areas such as public relations, marketing, management, and digital media.

Competence in Quantitative and Analytical skills, a minimum of 50% in Senior Mathematics for admission (based on a 35% pass scale), All India Senior School Certificate / Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) / India School Certificate (12 year), transcript which includes interim standard XII level marks, TOEFL iBT of 88 with 20 in each of the four components , IELTS of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAEL of 70, PTE Academic with an overall score of 65, and a minimum score of 60 in the Communicative Skills, including: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing, each lower division required course in mathematics and statistics, or its equivalent, with a minimum C+ grade, ACMA 101 and ACMA 210 with a minimum grade of C+ and have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.0
