Do you want to understand people Do you find yourself saying, Why did they do that Do you want to unlock the mysteries of the mind and learn to help others Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour, cognition, and emotions. We examine psychological issues at multiple levels of analysis; from the neuronal level to the broad societal context. The Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies and the School of Criminology have complementary interests in gender, sexuality, and women's issues. This joint major is for those who share these interests. Students are encouraged to plan their program in consultation with advisors in both departments.
