If you have an interest in both Classics and English, and have studied either Latin or Ancient Greek to A Level (or the equivalent), this course will enable you to study classical antiquity (its literature, art, material culture and thought) together with its reception in English literature through the Western tradition.

Upper-second class honours degree (2.1) or equivalent, A level: AAB including A in Latin or Ancient Greek and A in English Literature, or English Language and Literature combined and grade C/grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics, IB: 36 points including 6 in Higher Level Latin or Ancient Greek and 6 in Higher Level English, One academic reference, A strong statement of purpose, Transcripts of your academic achievement, Certificates of English language qualifications, IELTS score of 7.0, with a maximum of 6.0 or 6.5 in up to two categories, or equivalent score, TOEFL: 250 (Computer), 92 (iBT) with minimum of 21 in Listening, 21 in Writing, 22 in Reading and 23 in Speaking, Pearson Test of English (Academic): 69 with no less than 59 in any of the Communicative Skills
