A French and Spanish degree in the heart of London. With no requirement of prior study of the Spanish language students can continue where they left off at school or join as a complete beginner. The Departments of French, and Spanish, Portuguese & Latin American Studies are active in all fields: language, literature and cultural history through to the present day. The year abroad is usually split between French and Spanish-speaking countries.

Required subjects - French and Spanish (except for applicants to the ab intio Spanish pathway). A levels grades AAB. SAT - S - 650+ in each subject/ SAT-R - 1350 (with minimum 600 in the Maths section and 640 in the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section)/ ACT - 28. IB points required - 35 Ab initio pathway: Pass the IB Diploma with a total of at least 35 points, with three Higher Level subjects at 665 including Higher Level 6 in French. Note the total point score of 35 includes TOK/EE. Alternatively, if you meet these grade requirements, but do not have academic study of French, the DELF or DALF will be accepted as evidence of proficiency in French (minimum DELF B2). Standard pathway: Pass the IB Diploma with a total of at least 35 points, with three Higher Level subjects at 665 including both Higher Level 6 in Spanish and French. Note the total point score of 35 includes TOK/EE, IELTS - 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill. TOEFL - 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23 in each of the other skills
