This course will suit individuals with an interest in understanding the history of people, culture and societies, and their evolution in the modern era. It examines traditional Sociology topics, such as gender, race, medicine, food, sexuality, trade and health from a historical perspective.

Upper-second class honours degree (2.1) or equivalent, A level: AAB, to include grade A in History, IB: 36 points, with at least a 6 in Higher Level History, One academic reference, A strong statement of purpose, Transcripts of your academic achievement, Certificates of English language qualifications, IELTS score of 7.0, with a maximum of 6.0 or 6.5 in up to two categories, or equivalent score, TOEFL: 250 (Computer), 92 (iBT) with minimum of 21 in Listening, 21 in Writing, 22 in Reading and 23 in Speaking, Pearson Test of English (Academic): 69 with no less than 59 in any of the Communicative Skills
