This is a program for students intending to pursue graduate study in economics. Since this is a joint major you must apply to it separately in the Mathematics Department and the Economics Department. Mathematics courses are usually delivered in a lecture format. Many courses include recitations that allow students to seek additional explanation of course material and practice their problem solving skills.
