As one of only 8 CACREP-accredited programs in the nation, the Career Counseling program s approach to career counseling services centers on the interaction between theory, practice, and research. This program will prepare you for positions in career counseling, career placement, academic advising, and professional counseling. You will earn two graduate degrees simultaneously the Master of Science and the Educational Specialist degrees and you will gain hands-on experience in the field through career advising, career counseling, college teaching, workshop and outreach presentations, and program development.
